Art for Everyone

Our Art Gallery venue has a maximum capacity (which we may not exceed) of 90 persons.

If you wish to have your name added to our Standby List please go to the City Courses Booking Page (HERE) and add your details.

To view the 2024 scheduled lectures please click (HERE).

In the event of a subscriber’s apology in advance for one of our lectures, we will do our utmost to fill their vacant seat.

Robyn (0466 474 135) will telephone you and if unable to contact you will move onto the next person on the list.  “Time is of the essence!”  We often have quite short notice of a vacancy so your readiness to fill a gap will be very much appreciated.

If accepting, be sure to check with Robyn the entry instructions applicable that month.

You are also very welcome to enrol in a U3A Guided Tour in the Art Gallery. (see below)

A series of free guided tours in the Art Gallery have been organised exclusively for U3A Perth members.

View the details and check available dates (HERE) and use the blue button link to Trybooking to reserve your place.  Numbers are limited to 15 on each occasion and tours are free courtesy of The AGWA Guides.

The first street art walk to be conducted by Vicky Friel is fully subscribed.  Please note the content of 2024 walks are the same or very similar to the walks in Perth CBD in 2023.

It is a walk through some of the city streets and alleyways to view the surprisingly rich and varied styles of street art and includes informed discussion about the art works themselves and the artists behind them.

Please be aware this is a walking tour with steps and uneven ground — unfortunately this one is not suitable for you if you need any walking aids, frames or sticks.  Duration is between one hour and an hour and a half, stopping frequently along the way, but with no real opportunities to sit down!

Choose clothing and shoes appropriate to the back streets and alleys; a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle are highly recommended.  Please remember to wear your U3A badge

Numbers are strictly limited to 8 participants to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

Vicky also invites you to join her for a light lunch (at your own expense) immediately following the walk.  This will be a great opportunity to rest weary feet and discuss what you have just seen!

The tour will commence at 10:30am sharp from near the “Green Cactus” in Forrest Place, so please be on time!  If you have booked but are then unable to attend, please inform Vicky as soon as possible. (This walk may not proceed unless fully subscribed.)
